Otto Preminger's Bonjour Tristesse, the 1958 Otto Preminger English/U.S. France family relationship romantic coming-of-age melodrama ("Francoise Sagan's best-seller... An 18-year-old girl looks back at that fabulous summer on the Riviera... The interplay of five unconventional people competing for 'kicks', pleasures and love..."; "Based on the novel by Francoise Sagan", who was 17 years old when she wrote it; it tells of her own life where her rich father was about to marry a former girlfriend, and how much she did not approve of that) starring Deborah Kerr, David Niven, Jean Seberg (in her second movie role!), Mylene Demongeot, Geoffrey Horne, Juliette Greco, Walter Chiari, Martita Hunt, Roland Culver, Jean Kent, David Oxley, and Elga Andersen

Artist: Saul Bass

Condition: good to very good. The poster had a black mark running unevenly down the left edge of the left blank border (it may be a printing defect) and some pinholes around the edges. There were some smudges scattered in the white background areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
