An Original Vintage Polish Movie Program (measures 4 3/4" x 8 1/2" [12 x 22 cm]; 12 pages) (Learn More) Dracula, the classic 1931 Tod Browning Universal vampire monster horror thriller ("The Greatest of all Horror Thrillers"; "The Vampire Thriller!"; "The story of the strangest passion the world has ever known!"; "Do vampires really exist?"; "From the famous novel & play by Bram Stoker") starring Bela Lugosi (in the title role as Count Dracula), David Manners, Helen Chandler, Dwight Frye (if there had been a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award in 1931, Frye would have surely won it for his wild over-the-top portrayal as Renfield!), Edward Van Sloan (as Professor Abraham Van Helsing), Frances Dade, and Herbert Bunston NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this Polish program, and it has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still the only example of this program we have ever auctioned! It is printed on a single sheet that measures 9 1/2" x 21" when unfolded, but it was designed to be folded in an unusual way that created 12 "pages", with a great cover with Lugosi's hands separated from his head, which we have never seen before). Also, when it is completely unfolded, it has a wonderful montage of images from the movie, and there are also cool images on the other portions of the program (see our many images). Condition: very good. There is tiny separation at the crossfolds and some darkening and a few tiny stains on parts of the folds. The left and right borders of the program are slightly uneven, so it is possible that there was more to the left and right, but we think it is far more likely that these were simply trimmed and folded by hand (we have never seen another example, and if anyone has, please show it to us so we can see if this is slightly trimmed or not).
