Note that this was part of a series of Saxoleine advertising posters featuring pretty women lighting a lamp. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had creases, tears, and areas of paper loss on parts of many folds, with some tears and tiny paper loss around the edges, and a few tiny bits of paper loss scattered in non-fold areas. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and the restorer used minimal airbrushing on part of the top border area to "even it out", and the poster displays well. Learn More about condition grades
