An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More)

The Roadhouse Murder, the 1932 J. Walter Ruben New York City mistaken identity romantic crime murder mystery thriller ("Extra edition thriller!"; "SURPRISING, THRILLING"; "You wouldn't believe it if it hadn't happened"; produced by David O. Selznick; surely one of the wackiest movies ever made, and that is saying a lot!; a young newspaper reporter is not doing well, and when he and his girlfriend stumble on a murder, the murderers escape, but they leave behind evidence that proves their guilt; instead of getting a great scoop about the murder and turning them in to the police, the reporter decides to frame HIMSELF for the murder, so that he can go on the run and write a series of articles posing as the murderer!; he is then caught, and he still doesn't reveal the evidence that proves he is innocent, planning to save that for a dramatic moment at his trial, but just as he is about to, the evidence, which is in his girlfriend's purse, is snatched from her, so he can no longer prove his innocence, and he must plead guilty and ask for mercy!; of course it has a happy ending, but what a terrible movie!) starring Dorothy Jordan, Eric Linden, Roscoe Ates, Purnell Pratt, and Bruce Cabot

Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).

Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"!
