He held numerous karate titles between 1964 and 1974, and he trained many celebrities, including Steve McQueen, Priscilla Presley, and The Osmonds. In 1972, he played opposite Bruce Lee in Way of the Dragon (released in the U.S. as "Return of the Dragon"), including their memorable long battle to the death. He then caught the acting bug and became a top action star! Some of his roles include: Invasion U.S.A, The Delta Force, Missing in Action, and TV's "Walker, Texas Ranger". He appeared on the Total Gym Workout infomercials with his wife that have aired endlessly. His legendary "toughness" has spawned a zillion "Chuck Norris jokes" ("When the Boogeyman goes to sleep at night he checks his closet for Chuck Norris."; "Chuck Norris once roundhouse kicked someone so hard that his foot broke the speed of light, went back in time, and killed Amelia Earhart while she was flying over the Pacific Ocean", and many more!). As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 81! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
