Date Sold 5/27/2021 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 20 Original 1979 (from the first release of this movie in Germany) Vintage Theatrical German Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 9" x 11 3/4" [23 x 30 cm]) (Learn More) KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park (released theatrically in Italy as "Kiss Phantoms"), the 1978 Gordon Hessler made-for-TV rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) music horror science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy thriller ("KISSterical! KISStounding! KISStoric!"; "Their first full length feature film will zap you out of your seat!"; produced by Hanna-Barbera) starring KISS (Peter Criss, Ace Frehley, Gene Simmons, and Paul Stanley), Anthony Zerbe, Deborah Ryan, and Carmine Caridi. Note that this was a TV movie shown in the fall of 1978, and it was also given a theatrical release under the new title of "Attack of the Phantoms". As shown by snipes attached to some posters, promotional videos for the songs I Was Made for Lovin' You and Sure Know Something were edited into the film for the theatrical release (along with many other changes). The band apparently hated it when it was first released, but the movie has many fans and has acquired cult status. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these German lobby cards measure 9" x 11 3/4" [23 x 30 cm], but have not been trimmed. Condition: very good to fine.
