Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Folded Style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

The Death Kiss, the 1932 Edwin L. Marin horror murder mystery crime thriller (based on the novel "by Madelon St. Dennis") starring Adrienne Ames, David Manners, Bela Lugosi, John Wray, Edward Van Sloan, Alexander Carr, and Vince Barnett. Note that this movie was released the year after "Dracula", and yet Lugosi is still third billed! Perhaps the posters were prepared before Dracula's great success.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good. The poster is linenbacked; prior to restoration the poster had small tears in the top 5" and bottom 5" of the vertical foldline and small holes at each crossfold; there were pinholes in the corners; there was minor separation and creases on the foldlines; other than the specific above defects, the poster was in pretty nice condition prior to restoration; the poster was expertly restored and the above defects were well corrected through restoration; it appears the borders were repaired with a combination of paint and new paper in some areas, and it was very well done (it was very expertly done and most people would not realize it unless it was specifically shown to them); the restoration in the image area is still noticeable from close up, but from any distance away it is not at all noticeable or distracting and the poster looks quite nice!
