Three Men on a Horse, the 1936 Mervyn LeRoy horse racing sports gambling comedy ("Will set new laugh records for human race"; in the Damon Runyon fashion, a greeting card writer is able to pick winners at the racetrack, and three degenerate gamblers hold him prisoner so that they can make lots of money off of his picks, but all works out well because during his absence, his boss realizes how important he is to the company!) starring Frank McHugh, Joan Blondell, Guy Kibbee, Carol Hughes, Allen Jenkins, Sam Levene (who, despite his low billing due to this being his first movie, held the lead role in this film), Teddy Hart, and Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson. Note that, oddly, some of the advertising for this movie presents it as "3 Men on a Horse" and other advertising presents it as "Three Men on a Horse".
