In Walked Mary, the 1920 George Archainbaud silent romantic love triangle melodrama ("From the play 'Liza-Ann' by Oliver D. Bailey"; about a southern belle who falls on hard times and goes to visit an old northern friend, but he is engaged to another; after many complications, the North and South come together) starring June Caprice (in the title role as Mary Ann Hubbard), Thomas Carrigan, Stanley Walpole, Vivienne Osborne, and Frances Miller (billed as "Frances M. Grant"; as Mammy; a black African American actress who appeared in 20 movies between 1916 and 1930, but due to the stereotypes of the time, she mostly played maids named "Mammy"). Note that Miss Miller was first billed as "Frances Miller", and then married, and became "Frances Miller Grant", and then later became simply "Frances Grant".
