An Original Vintage Folded Stage Play Poster (measures 28" x 40 3/4" [71 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) A Texas Ranger, the circa 1905 stage play production ("The Greatest Show of the Plains") that likely toured many cities. The play apparently included many scenes of a Texas Ranger who saved settlers from Native American Indians. This play may have been performed at the turn of the century, or it could have been performed at any point through the late 1910s. The poster for this play was printed by "The National PTG.ENG" of New York, Chicago, and St. Louis, and unfortunately, the poster is not dated, and there is no other writing on the poster to indicate when or where it was made, and how it was used. If anyone knows more about this show or this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good.
