An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Irish Luck, the 1925 Victor Heerman silent New York/Ireland romantic inheritance melodrama ("From 'An Imperfect Impostor' by Norman Venner"; about a New York cop who travels to Ireland and meets an Irish Lord who is his exact double, and when that man is kidnapped, he takes his place to ensure his inheritance, and he saves the man from the kidnappers, but the man's girlfriend falls in love with him instead and they are married) starring Thomas Meighan (in a dual role), Lois Wilson, Cecil Humphreys, Claude King, and Ernest Lawford. Note that it was a pretty common plot device in silent movies to not only have people meet their exact double, but also to then go on to impersonate them. I wonder if this happens much in real life! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. The card has a tiny tear in the upper right blank border (repaired with tape from the back) and there are a few faint smudges around the edges.
