a lot of 8 issues of Movie Story ("Thrilling Story Versions of All the New Hit Films"; in its early years it was called "Romantic Movie Story" and "Romantic Movie Stories"), one of the many movie magazines sold to the public. Each issue features a great full color cover of a leading star of the day, plus condensed short "novelizations" of a group of then-currently playing movies ("new films in story form - read your movies - then see them"). Each of the novelizations has lots of sepia images taken from the movie, plus portraits of some of the stars. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1930s to the 1940s.
