eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result #011 MOUNTAIN WOMAN TC '21 Pearl White Date Sold 9/10/2002Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Mountain Woman, the 1921 Charles Giblyn silent romantic melodrama ("Adapted from the novel 'A Pagan of the Hills' by Charles Neville Buck") starring Pearl White (famous star of the most memorable silent serial, "The Perils of Pauline"), Corliss Giles, Richard Travers, George Barnum, and Warner Richmond. Note that Pearl White is of course the most famous female silent serial star, but after many injuries from her roles, she decided that she wanted to quit serials, and she turned to "serious acting", but she became addicted to painkillers, and she retired in 1924 and passed away in 1938, when she was just 49. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fine. There are two pinholes in the top center of the card. Otherwise, the card is in wonderful condition and it is hard to believe it is over 80 years old. Learn More about condition grades
