An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Attack of the Crab Monsters, the 1957 Roger Corman science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy horror thriller ("From the depths of the sea... A Tidal Wave of Terror!") starring Richard Garland, Pamela Duncan, Russell Johnson, Leslie Bradley, and Mel Welles. Note that while this is certainly far from a classic movie, its posters have some of the very best imagery of ANY of the 1950s horror/sci-fi movies! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. There is a Canadian censor stamp in the lower left of the image, but very fortunately, it is almost completely in the blue background area, and would be relatively easy for a restorer to remove or paint over. Someone attached the top of the poster to a wall with a piece of white tape in the top left and top right corners, folding the tape over the front and back of each corner. There is 2" of clean separation at the bottom of the vertical foldline. There is small separation at the bottom two crossfolds and minute separation at the top crossfold. There is separation at the left and right edges of the horizontal foldlines. There is a 1" tear in the left of the middle foldline (to the left of the girl's arm and a tiny hole 1" to the left of that. There are pinholes in the corners. There is a 2" tear in the top right corner and a second piece of linen-like tape near the top of the right border. The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! Any talented restorer could repair the above defects during the linenbacking process, and since most of the defects are in the borders, the poster would end up with paint only in the censor stamp area (which IS in the background), and would look fantastic!
