Gilda, the classic 1946 Charles Vidor Buenos Aires Argentina romantic love triangle bad girl gambling casino crime film noir ("'Johnny, let me go, please let me go. I can't stand it any more...'"; "Now they all know what I am..."; "'I was true to one man once ...and look what happened!'"; "'I didn't think I'd be true to a man again as long as I lived...'"; "'I warned you to let me alone. And I mean it!'"; "There never was a women like Gilda!") starring Rita Hayworth (in the title role "as Gilda"), Glenn Ford, George Macready, Joseph Calleia, Steven Geray, Joe Sawyer, Ludwig Donath, Robert Scott, and Gerald Mohr. Note that the sheath dress that Rita Hayworth wears in the movie (designed by Jean Louis) certainly contributed greatly to the popularity of this movie!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and small paper loss at the other two crossfolds. It had some creases and tiny paper loss on parts of the bottom fold and the bottom half of the vertical fold, with a much lesser amount on the rest of the folds. It had pinholes in the corners. It had smudges and stains in the bottom blank border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
