Important Added Info: Note that first release 1935 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a herald and a few stills from this movie until we received this poster (no other U.S. posters at all and no lobby cards)! Note that this poster was never folded. It COULD conceivably be rolled and sent in a tube, but it would certainly damage the poster to do so, so we will only send it to the winning bidder in a large flat package that measures approximately 16" x 38". Please bear this added expense in mind before bidding on this poster.

Note that this item needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package. Most of these items absolutely can only be sent in flat packages, and could not possibly be rolled into a tube. Some of them might SEEM like they could be rolled in a tube, like a half-sheet, but they can't. The reason these items are in this auction is specifically because they CAN'T be rolled (because rolling any of them would damage them, even if they somehow can be rolled). So please bear in mind that this item must be sent in a LARGE flat package (the size of the package will depend on the size of the item when ready for shipping), and bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it.

Condition: fair to good. The poster was never folded. It has staining in the top right corner that has discolored that area, but fortunately, it is in the solid black background area only (see our image). It has darkening and staining down the right 1 1/2", with tears and paper loss in parts of the right 2" of the poster, but fortunately, the paper loss is in the blank border, except for a tiny bit of the bottom right corner of the image, where there is larger paper loss. There are tears scattered down the left side of the poster, with two tears that extend into the upper yellow background, but fortunately don't go into the letters. There is a 12" diagonal crease in the lower right of the image, extending into Howard's shoulder. The poster is fragile. Obviously, this poster has the noticeable defects listed above, but it is also true that the image is not very affected by those defects, and after proper restoration and paperbacking, the poster will look fantastic, with very little paint restoration required within the image.
