Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster! We have only auctioned it once in all our years of auctioning, and that was 13 years ago, when it auctioned for $3,440. Many collectors consider this poster to have a better image than that of either first release one-sheet, but of course, that is subjective. It certainly will look great on the new owner's wall! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had creases and scuffs along the folds. It had some faint smudges in the yellow background areas and a faint smudge in Pinocchio's cheek. It had small paper loss in the left of the top blank border and tiny paper loss in two other blank corners. It had a few small creases and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
