An Original Vintage Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More)

Meeting Theda Bara, the 1918 Bud Fisher silent family animated animation cartoon comedy short starring Mutt and Jeff. Note that Mutt and Jeff (a pair of loser best friends, one tall and one short) was one of the most poular newspaper cartoon strips ever, beginning in 1908, and they were brought to the movies in 1911, and over the next 15 years, Bud Fisher created an astonishing 347 cartoons starring the duo. Note that Bud Fisher was one of the rare successful creators who was also an excellent business man, and he gained control of the newspaper strip, and when the first cartoons were adapted in 1911, he retained sole ownership of those as well, and his various enterprises made him an extremely wealthy man!
