An Undated (probably 1957) Re-Release (re-titled "Satan in Skirts" for this re-release) Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Guest in the House, the 1944 John Brahm psychological mental illness melodrama ("A daring motion picture from the daring New York stage hit!"; "The boldest love story ever told!"; "SHE will never, never never let you forget her!"; "Why does the ringing of this bell have so shattering an affect? Why does this tiny bird reveal a twisted mind? What dread secret does this white gown hide?"; "Daily Diary - I must have him for myself... he alone can keep me away from that sordid room... and I have ways to get what I am after... ways that other women never even dream about..."; "From the stage play by Hagar Wilde and Dale Eunson"; about a man who takes his mentally ill fiancee to his family's ocean vacation home, and she massively disrupts the entire family) starring Anne Baxter, Ralph Bellamy, Aline MacMahon, Ruth Warrick, Scott McKay, Jerome Cowan, Marie McDonald, Percy Kilbride, Margaret Hamilton, and Connie Laird
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that in 1957, Marie McDonald staged her own kidnapping leading to Astor's re-releasing this film in which she appeared (originally 7th billed!) to cash in on her tabloid status. When they did this, they changed the title to the far superior "Satan in Skirts", and they used a great artwork image of a shadowy female figure with devil horns!

Condition: good to very good. The card has slightly darkened unevenly. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
