The Belle of Broadway, the 1926 Harry O. Hoyt silent Paris France New York City Broadway stage acting romantic melodrama ("A romantic drama of youth glorified-age defied"; "Adapted from 'Adele'"; a convoluted story of a celebrated Paris stage star who is a giant hit in her debut in the play "DuBarry"; she has a son, and her husband deserts her, taking her infant son with him; her life goes downhill, and 25 years later, she is barely surviving in New York City when an agent tells her that a revival of "DuBarry" would be a giant hit, but only if the aging actress could play it as she had decades ago; a young actress turns up who is a double for the young version of the older actress, and she poses as the older actress, and amazingly, no one questions how she has not aged after so many years, and there is a revival of the play; the younger actress is seduced by a slimy rich guy, but at the last minute, she is rescued by a dashing young man, who is the infant son of the older actress, all grown up!) starring Betty Compson, Herbert Rawlinson, Edith Yorke, Armand Kaliz, and Ervin Renard

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good. The poster had extra horizontal foldlines above and below the regular top and bottom foldlines. There were some creases and tears on parts of some foldlines. There were some creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was quite nicely backed, and you can't see any signs of restoration of the above defects, except on the closest inspection!
