Mong, Robert Ellis, Arthur Rankin and Dorothy Granger

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster has a really wonderful image, surely one of the very best B-western images of any movie posters of the 1930s, if not the very best (and it is massively different from the image on the one-sheet for this movie). In 1998, we auctioned an example of this poster, and it sold for $5,980. We were contacted by an individual who had another example of the same poster, and he said that if he ever wanted to sell it, he would let us know, but that he loved it too much to part with it! Now, 20 years later, he has consigned it to us, and it may be another 20 years before another comes up for auction!

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tears and small areas of paper loss scattered down the middle vertical fold, with a lesser amount of wear on all the other folds. It had a few minor border defects. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Because of the value and rarity of the poster, it was given to a top professional, who did his finest work on the poster, and it really displays wonderfully. We hope that it will be purchased by someone who will display it publicly (the first example of this poster we auctioned 20 years ago was purchased by a private collector who has never displayed it to our knowledge)!
