40,000 Miles with Lindbergh, the 1928 MGM silent airplane aviation documentary ("Actual Motion Pictures of the Amazing Aeronautical Career of 'The Lone Eagle'"; about the famous pilot Charles A. Lindbergh). Note that when Charles Lindbergh flew solo from New York to Paris, it was the biggest news event of the decade, and MGM rushed out this documentary to theaters, which was simply a compilation of all of their newsreel footage covering his flight, his arrival in Paris, his return to New York, and his travels across the U.S. afterwards. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
