An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Sadie McKee, the 1934 Clarence Brown poor-girl-marries-mega-rich-husband romantic love triangle melodrama ("I gave 10c worth of love for a $17,000,000 husband!"; "Vina Delmar's sensational Liberty Magazine serial story comes to the screen!"; Crawford is the daughter of a cook for rich people who wants more out of life, and she has relationships with three men, including the alcoholic millionaire she marries, that lets her achieve her dreams) starring Joan Crawford (in the title role as Sadie McKee), Franchot Tone, Gene Raymond, Edward Arnold, Esther Ralston, Akim Tamiroff, Gene Austin, Leo G. Carroll, and Helen Ware. Note that this was one of the first movies where Joan Crawford dominated the movie, and she had great hairstyles and outfits, and she became that rare female star who could "carry" a movie on her own, without an equally strong male star! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
