An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Jumbo Lobby Card (measures 14" x 17") (Learn More) I'm No Angel, the 1933 Wesley Ruggles circus sideshow romantic love triangle musical comedy ("Come up and see me sometime - any time!"; "Goodness... has nothing to do with it!"; about a sexy dancer in a third rate circus; she lives with a guy, but that doesn't stop her from seeing other men; when her boyfriend goes to jail, she becomes the lion tamer; she gets a rich playboy boyfriend, but she wants his cousin, played by super young Cary Grant!) starring Mae West, Cary Grant (in his 12th movie role!), Gregory Ratoff, Edward Arnold, Ralf Harolde, Kent Taylor, and William B. Davidson. Note that this movie was originally called "It Ain't No Sin", and the enactment of the Production Code caused the title to be changed to the much tamer "I'm No Angel", and apparently caused several racy scenes to end up on the cutting room floor! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. This jumbo lobby card has been professionally dry-mounted onto a backing board, and then had slight restoration performed on tears in the borders. Prior to restoration, there was a 3" semi-circular tear (extending into the fur of West's coat), a 1" tear, and a 1/2" tear in the right edge of the card. There were also other small tears and creases around the edges. It appears there were some sort of minor smudges in Grant's neck and West's forehead. All of these defects received minor touch up to help minimize the defects. While these areas are still slightly visible from a few feet away, we believe many collectors would be happy to own this classic jumbo lobby card. But if you would be bothered by the restoration it has had, please do not bid on this jumbo lobby card! Note that it does not appear that the dry-mounting has had the slightest effect on the jumbo lobby card, and in fact has almost surely greatly helped to preserve it (as the unbacked jumbo lobby card was fragile, which caused the border tears in the first place). It is likely the card was dry-mounted prior to being framed, and it could easily be re-framed at a minimal cost. Learn More about condition grades
