An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More)

Her Husband Lies, the 1937 Edward Ludwig brothers family relationship gambling romantic melodrama ("He was on the level with every two-timer on Broadway but he couldn't play straight with a woman!"; "Based on a story by Oliver H.P. Garrett"; a completely forgotten gambling movie, which despite its title and advertising campaign, concerns a professional gambler who wants to quit at the same time his younger brother wants to become a gambler; the older brother teaches his younger brother everything he knows and then retires, but when his younger brother cleans out a group of professional gamblers playing poker, they assume he must have cheated them, and the older brother must get re-involved in gambling to save his younger brother) starring Gail Patrick, Ricardo Cortez (with the classic pro-gambler name of "Spade Martin"), Akim Tamiroff, Tom Brown, Louis Calhern, and June Martel

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this window card! Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: fair to good. There is water staining scattered across the bottom of the card, extending into almost all of Patrick's image. There is surface paper loss in the bottom left corner. Obviously, the card can be restored, but bear in mind its defects before bidding on it.
