Artist: Sam Levin & Clement Hurel Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this poster (although that poster, while the same image, had different colors; the previous one was red and yellow, while this example is green and yellow), which is a "country of origin" poster for this partially French movie, and that was 8 years ago! Condition: fair. The theater that used this poster was apparently afraid the poster would be too sexy for its audiences (perhaps it was used in Canada), because they painted a white "nightgown" over Bardot's midsection (underneath it, she is wearing a bikini bottom). It is likely that a restorer could remove the paint, but it might have left staining underneath, so please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept the restoration needed (or perhaps find it an interesting commentary on the times and want to leave it unrestored). There are also pinholes, tears, and small paper loss around the edges and a piece of brown paper tape on the back of the lower left of the poster where there was a tear.
