An Original Vintage Souvenir Program Book (measures 12" x 12" [30 x 30 cm]; 24 pages) (Learn More) The Texas International Pop Festival was a 1969 music festival which was held at Lewisville, Texas from August 30th to September 1st (two weeks after Woodstock). The festival was created by Angus G. Wynne III (son of Angus G. Wynne, the founder of the Six Flags Over Texas Amusement Park). Some of the artists performing at the festival include: Chicago, Janis Joplin, B.B. King, Santana, Led Zeppelin, and many more. Note that the program book for this festival has an oddity. It has two covers that are identical, but printed upside-down from each other, and the second half is printed upside-down from the first half! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
