Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Woody Allen's Take the Money and Run, the classic 1969 Woody Allen bank robbery mock-documentary romantic crime comedy ("Crime lives!") starring Woody Allen, Janet Margolin, Marcel Hillaire, Jacquelyn Hyde, Lonny Chapman, and narrated by Jackson Beck. Note that Woody Allen had performed stand-up comedy and had done writing for movies and TV, but it was not until 1966 when he bought the rights to an obscure Japanese movie and dubbed it with incorrect dialog and he was credited as a "director" on the movie, which was released as "What's Up Tiger Lily?". But it was with this movie that he directed his first real movie, and of course, that led to his legendary career that followed! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. There are creases and scuffs throughout the poster, more so in the bottom credits area. There are a few small tears around the edges of the poster. There is a piece of clear tape in the lower right corner.. Note that this poster has never been folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded twice (once horizontally and once vertically) right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded copy of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Learn More about condition grades
