Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

In Society (the posters make it look like the title is "Bud Abbott and Lou Costello In Society"), the 1944 Jean Yarbrough musical screwball comedy ("The Kings of Comedy are back!"; "Their first in a year! Their funniest of all!"; "The comedy kings are back! In their first in a year... and their funniest of all!") starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Marion Hutton, Arthur Treacher, Kirby Grant, Thomas Gomez, Anne Gillis, Will Osborne and His Orchestra, The Three Sisters (Margie, Bea, and Geri), and Don Barclay. Note that "The Three Sisters" only appeared in this one movie. They were also known as "The Fontane Sisters", and they had a gigantic hit in 1951 when they sang "It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas" with Perry Como!

Important Added Info:

NOTE: In this case, the #2 in the title of this sale is not the number of the lobby card (whenever we know the number of a lobby card we list it for those of you who know which scenes you are looking for). In this case, the cards from this particular set were un-numbered, but because we are selling more than one card from this set this week as separate eBay sales, we needed to differentiate between the sales, and we did so by marking them "#2, #3, etc. (Note that we do not use #1, because this is commonly used to signify the title card).
We are also selling a title card and another lobby card from this movie elsewhere on eBay this week.

Condition: fine. There are three pinholes in the top blank border and one each in the other blank borders. There is a small surface cut in the middle of the left blank border. There are minor creases in the top right blank border.. Note that this lobby card is one of a collection of 38 excellent Abbott and Costello lobby cards eMoviePoster is selling this week on eBay! This collection was assembled by a collector over many years. It includes original and re-issue cards, but almost every card is in very nice condition, and is one of the better scenes from that movie. The reason there are re-issues included is because the re-issues for Abbott and Costello movies often contain far better shots of them than do the original lobby cards. It is rare that so many fine Abbott and Costello lobby cards are offered at one time! Be sure to look at the other 37 lobby cards we are offering (all as separate items).
