An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Swedish Movie Poster (measures approximately 27" x 39") (Learn More)

Rendezvous, the 1935 William K. Howard & Sam Wood World War I (WWI) spy espionage code-breaking romantic love triangle comedy ("3,000 men sentenced to death by a woman's beauty!"; "Every merry moment packed with thrills!"; about a soldier in World War I who is an expert in breaking codes, so he is assigned to the intelligence department, where he falls in love with the beautiful young niece of the commander, and he also gets entangled with a beautiful Russian spy!) starring William Powell, Rosalind Russell ("introducing his new screen sweetheart, ...gorgeous Rosalind Russell!"), Binnie Barnes, Lionel Atwill, Cesar Romero, Samuel S. Hinds, and Henry Stephenson. Note that this was Rosalind Russell's second year of making movies, and she had appeared in minor roles in quite a few, but this was a much better role for her!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good to very good. The poster had creases and tiny tears across the top foldline and minor wear on the other folds. There were some faint stains and smudges across the top 8" of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did not address the faint stains and smudges in the top (although they truly are not very noticeable or distracting when you look at the poster in person).
