Ningen no Joken (released in English-speaking countries as "The Human Condition" and "Human Condition I: No Greater Love"), the 1959 Masaki Kobayashi Japanese historical World War II (WWII) soldier military action conscientious objector thriller melodrama starring Tatsuya Nakadai, Michiyo Aratama, Chiakage Awashima, Ineko Arima, and Keiji Sada. Note that this was the first movie a series of three films about a Japanese pacifist as he tries to get through World War II

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one from the first release of this movie in Japan in 1959 in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has darkened slightly and it has creases scattered throughout. There is some paper loss at upper left. After linenbacking with some proper restoration the very rare poster will display well.
