Also included is a poster that measures 26 3/4" x 41" (Learn More) Academy Awards Portfolio, the 1962 portfolio containing artwork portraits of Academy Award winning stars ("A complete collection starting with 1928 to current winners"; "Now available here"), featuring images of Sophia Loren ("1961- Two Women - Champion/Les Films"), Bing Crosby ("1944 - Going My Way - Paramount"), Marlon Brando ("1954 - On the Waterfront - Horizon/American"), Elizabeth Taylor ("1960 - Butterfield 8 - Afton/Linebrook"), Janet Gaynor ("1928 - Seventh Heaven - Fox"), Audrey Hepburn ("1953 - Roman Holiday - Paramount"), and Clark Gable ("1934 - It Happened One Night - Columbia"), and many more. The portfolio was promoted with a 27x41 poster which was displayed at theaters, and sometimes the portfolios are found WITH the poster, but much more often they are found without the poster. Artist: Nicholas Volpe Important Added Info: Note that the son of a former theater owner tells us that this special poster was included with sets of promotional photographs that were mailed to theater owners. He also states that the portraits were not authorized by the Academy and were recalled, so it is quite likely that only a few of these special posters still exist today! Also note that this portfolio is the version from 1962, which contains 69 great artwork portraits (see above for more on this) of Academy Award winning stars (and we have pictured all of them)! Note: We have 12 images of the items in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 12 images are displayed above.
