An Original Vintage Unfolded French Stage Play Poster (measures 34 1/4" x 41" [87 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Bataclan (Ba-Ta-Clan) is a theatre in Paris, France which was designed in 1864 by the architect Charles Duval. It's name refers to Ba-ta-clan, an operetta by Jacques Offenbach, and since the early 1970s, it has been a venue for rock music. On November 13, 2015, 89 people were killed in a coordinated terrorist attack in the theatre. Artist: Alain Aslan Condition: good. The poster was very neatly trimmed around the edges (it once had blank borders and some information in the upper and lower edges.) It is considered a pretty serious defect as several inches of the poster are trimmed, however, the remaining art image and silver borders are in nice condition, so it could be displayed for its art, but bear in mind the fact that this is trimmed poster and see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this poster prior to placing a bid.
