An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Trapped by Television, the 1936 Del Lord science fiction (sci-fi) crime thriller ("Science exposes 'The Perfect Racket'!") starring Lyle Talbot, Mary Astor, Nat Pendleton, and Joyce Compton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. Much of the bottom 1/3 of the lobby card was water stained. It has discolored the back of the card, but from the front of the card, it is mostly only noticeable in the bottom of the left border (extending into the "T" of "TRAPPED"), in the bottom of the right border, in the right edge of the bottom border, and in the "y" of "by" in the title. There is tiny paper loss in the bottom right corner and tiny surface paper loss in the left of the top blank border. The water staining is not very distracting at all, and I could well imagine most collectors happily displaying this card as it is. I would also imagine that a talented restorer could likely remove most or all of the water staining by chemical means, and the card would look wonderful, and likely not require much, if any, paint restoration.
