If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we recently auctioned a different example of this Egyptian poster, and it sold for $242! Note that the vast majority of these Egyptian re-releases we have auctioned have been roughly one-sheet size. However, this poster measures a much larger 35" x 75", and it is printed on a single sheet. Also note that we think it is extremely likely that this poster was created within the last 10 years (possibly in the last couple of years) for an Egyptian movie theater showing classic movies (perhaps this was created for a single showing, but we really don't know). We have been told that there were Egyptian film festivals in the 1990s that used posters like these, and that might well be true, but we believe this poster (and the other recent Egyptian re-releases we are currently auctioning) are much more recent than that (so maybe there continue to be film festivals to the present day). It was consigned to us from Egypt, but we know nothing more about its history except for what is written above, so please do not bid unless you can accept these uncertainties. Condition: good. The poster has faint staining scattered on the back (likely glue stains from when it was attached to a wall). Some of those stains show through to the front (see our image).
