Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Vamp, the 1918 Jerome Storm silent World War I (WWI) romantic espionage spy comedy (about a shy young girl who has friends who tell her to act like a vamp to win the heart of the local minister, and she does successfully, and after they are married, they move to another town, where she uses the same techniques to trap a German spy!) starring Enid Bennett, Douglas MacLean, Charles French, Robert McKim, Melbourne MacDowell, and John P. Lockney. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. As is typical with older glass slides, this slide has no holder, but had black tape around all the edges of the glass. At some point, all of the black tape was lost.
