An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, the classic 1964 Stanley Kubrick (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) English Cold War anti-war fantasy satire ("The hot-line suspense comedy"; "EXPLODES with atomic laughter!"; "America and London acclaim Peter Sellers in the first comedy of the Nuclear Age!"; "Peter Sellers.. In 3 hilarious roles!"; "Based on the book 'Red Alert' by Peter George"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Peter Sellers (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; playing three roles: President Merkin Muffley, Group Captain Lionel Mandrake, and the title role of Dr. Strangelove), George C. Scott (as General Buck Turgidson), Sterling Hayden (as Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper), Keenan Wynn (as Colonel Bat Guano), Slim Pickens (as Major T.J. Artist: Tomi Ungerer Important Added Info: Note that there are two slightly different posters for this classic movie. One has a reddish color for the top title and credits area, and the other has a "neon orange" color in that same area. We know there were two different kinds of one-sheets for this movie because there are some with one litho number and some with another, and yet it does not correlate to the two different colors described above! So we are very confused. The one with the orange color looks like it could be intended to be day-glo. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. several pinholes in each corner in the solid white areas; creases and some scuffs down the vertical foldline; there are some light red stains in the vertical foldline which appear to have come from the color of the lettering of the title and is likely a minor printing defect; other than the above, the poster is in quite nice condition and the paper has a "crisp" feel to it!
