An Original Vintage Theatrical Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Don Ameche was an actor from the 1930s to the 1990s. Some of his movies include: Midnight, Heaven Can Wait, and Alexander's Ragtime Band. He is perhaps best remembered for his starring role as the inventor of the telephone in The Story of Alexander Graham Bell. He had notable "comeback" performances in Trading Places, appearing with Ralph Bellamy, Things Change, and Cocoon (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), appearing with Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy. He passed away in 1993 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this still is from a special set of "color glos" stills, which means it was printed on a photo type of paper and have a glossier front, with more vivid colors. This is something the studios experimented with in the late 1930s and early 1940s, for both 8x10 stills and 11x14 stills. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
