Did you know... that the cost of U.S. shipping is almost always a "flat rate" no matter how many items you win (even if it is 100 items in a single set of auctions, or hundreds of items over consecutive auctions)?Return to Did You Know Archive Added: 06/04/2012 We always combine shipping when it is safe to do so to save you LOTS of money! The flat rate U.S. shipping we offer in most sets of auctions is true "flat rate" shipping. This means whether you win 1 item or 100 (or more!), U.S. customers still only pay a single shipping charge (and because we put the same sized items together in one set of auctions, you often CAN combine 50 or 100 items into a single package!). BUT THERE'S MORE! If you win items within a two week period that fit into the same type of package, we will combine those items as well for that single shipping charge. This means there is a possibility of combining items from up to 6 sets of auctions (usually around 6,000 items!) for a single U.S. shipping charge (and we have another offer solely for non-U.S. customers; see below). Of course, if you win items that ship in two or more types of packages (such as a flat package and a tube), then we WILL of course have to charge you for the two packages, but even then, it doesn't matter how many items of each type you win, you will still pay only the two shipping charges. This flat rate shipping is our way of saying "thank you" to customers who purchase multiple items and pay within two weeks (if you DON'T pay within two weeks, then you DON'T get the flat rate price, and must instead pay the actual cost of shipping). We also automatically combine shipping for non-U.S. customers and because shipping is more for them than in the U.S. (but we only charge the actual cost of shipping plus $3 for packing materials), we offer those customers an ever BETTER deal! We offer our Pay and Hold Program which allows customers to win items and pay as you go (U.S. customers can have us hold the items for up to four weeks which is up to 12 auctions worth of items, or around 12,000 items, and non-U.S. customers can have us hold the items for up to eight weeks which is up to 24 auctions worth of items, or around 24,000 items!) to combine shipping on as many items as possible which serves to save you a LOT of money on shipping.
