Search Tips
Keep it Simple.
Don't try to search for everything at once. Try "Al Pacino" or "Scarface" or "Crime". If you search for, "Al Pacino, the guy who played in Scarface, the Crime Action Thriller by Oliver Stone", you won't get all the results that you are looking for.
Filtering to a specific title.
(This Applies to the Auction History Database only.)
Let's say you search for "Hombre". Your results come up with "Hard Hombre", "Hombre", and "Valiant Hombre". If you just want to see "Hombre" titles without the other two films listed, click the filter icon () in the year column. You may also filter by clicking the size, so you could filter to "Hombre" and "1sheet" to see only Hombre one-sheets.
Description
Some pages, such as the Auction History, allow you to search the movie descriptions. This expands what you can find (see the sample below):
Example - Description for Deliverance (1972)

Deliverance, the classic 1972 John Boorman river men-on-weekend-canoe-
trip-meet-bestial-mountain-men-who-do-unspeakable-things thriller ("This is
the weekend they didn't play golf"; nominated for the Best Director and Best
Picture Academy Award; written by James Dickey from his own novel) starring
Jon Voight, Burt Reynolds, Ned Beatty, and Ronny Cox
This is a basic description for the movie Deliverance. This is the type of description your search will be searching through to find your keywords. If you search for "John Boorman" it will find this movie. If you search for "Academy Award" it will also find this movie. This allows you to search for more than just the title of the movie. You can search for a certain star, director, genre, or almost anything else.
Including Keywords
If you want to show results that include a certain word, add a plus sign ("+") before that word. For example, searching for "DRACULA +1951" will show DRACULA items that are from 1951.
Using "OR"
If you want to show all results with, for example, "horror" OR "sci-fi", use the pipe symbol ("|") by typing "horror |sci-fi".
