Description: Davy Crockett and the River Pirates, the 1956 Norman Foster Walt Disney adventure thriller ("Exciting new adventures...lusty, gusty entertainment...as America's frontier hero tangles with Mike Fink, the King of the River!"; "Exciting new adventures... As two frontier giants, Davy Crockett and Mike Fink, challenge the river raiders!") starring Fess Parker (in the title role as Davy Crockett), Buddy Ebsen (best remembered as Jed Clampett of TV's "The Beverly Hillbillies") and Jeff York. Note that this poster includes an advertisement for a featurette that Disney showed along with the Davy Crockett feature. This featurette was Man In Space, the 1956 Ward Kimball Walt Disney animated cartoon short documentary (about the history of rockets and effects of space travel on man; "Plus... Fun, fact and fantasy...
