Details About These Sunday Items

IMPORTANT! This set of auctions runs for ONE week!
This set of auctions began on November 11th and it will last for ONE week, ending on November 18th.
This set of our Sunday auctions was scheduled to begin on 11/4, and run for two weeks, but because we extended Part II of our 13th Annual Halloween Auction (due to Hurricane Sandy), this auction of rolled one-sheets will now run for only ONE week, so we can keep to our previously announced schedule.

About the rolled one-sheet posters
Note that most of the posters we are selling this week were never folded. A very few of the posters were once folded (or partially folded, as in tri-folding), but all of those have been stored flat for a long time and will be shipped rolled in tubes, along with the completely unfolded ones.  We will NOT re-fold any of the "formerly folded" posters.
WE ALWAYS IDENTIFY WHETHER A POSTER IS UNFOLDED, TRI-FOLDED, OR FORMERLY FULLY FOLDED WITHIN THE DESCRIPTION FOR EACH ITEM!
NOTE THAT WE SOMETIMES SEPARATE THE 27X40 AND 27X41 ONE-SHEETS INTO TWO ENTIRELY SEPARATE AUCTIONS, BUT IN THIS SET OF AUCTIONS WE ARE AUCTIONING BOTH SIZES (but we still clearly identify on each auction which are 27x40s and which are 27x41s).

About the originality of rolled one-sheets

Many collectors would like to add posters from their favorite movies of the 1970s onward to their collection, but they rightfully are afraid they will be sold commercial posters (or reproductions or bootlegs), rather than actual posters either used in theaters or intended for theater use. WHEN YOU BUY FROM US THIS WEEK, YOU HAVE A GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL BE BUYING A GENUINE ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTERS! This is because almost all of these posters come to us either from theater owners, or from advanced collectors (often ones who purchased the posters right when the movies first came out), people who know how to distinguish an original poster, and also, we here at eMoviePoster very carefully scrutinize every poster to make 100% certain it is genuine! But you don't have to take our word for it! If you purchase any poster this week, and you have the slightest doubts about its originality after you receive it, it is fine for you to return it for a full refund within 7 days of receipt (but we virtually never get a single poster returned, because we reject any poster that is consigned to us if we have the slightest doubts about it!).

About the condition

Normally when we sell movie paper, we grade the posters on a scale that allows for some defects typical of 30 to 75-year-old movie posters that were actually used in theaters. Such posters often have some minor wear at the very least, and it is next to impossible to find posters that have no wear at all, and it would be silly to have a grading scale where no posters would qualify for "very good to fine" (or better grades), so we use a more "relaxed" scale that allows for very minor defects in our "very good to fine" grade.
But in this auction, we are selling a fair number of posters from the past 20 years, and those posters can more often be found in excellent condition, because there were dealers and collectors who purchased these posters unused, and kept them in wonderful condition.
So for THIS auction, we grade on a MUCH stricter scale than we do for our folded one-sheet auctions! We downgrade posters to "very good to fine" for very minor defects (things like a single tiny tear in the border, or faint creases in the edges). We further downgrade to "very good" posters that have several of these types of defects, even though the poster would probably qualify as "fine", if it was from the 1940s!
We use this "sliding scale" grading because it allows us to better convey the poster's true condition to our buyers. If we used the exact same scale for all posters, then most 1920s posters would be graded as "fair" or "poor", and most 1980s or 1990s posters would be graded as "fine", and we realize that that benefits nobody!
In this auction, we have given a more detailed overall condition grade ("fine", "very good to fine", "very good", "good to very good", "good", and "fair", with only a few "poor") for each poster. We felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily. Of course, we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects.
Know that we generally grade FAR more harshly than any other dealer we know! A 1990s poster that we grade as "good" or "good to very good" may well be one that many collectors could display on their wall just as it is, and may well be one that many other dealers would grade as "very good". So please don't reject a poster because it has a grade of "good" or "good to very good". Please study our supersized image and see if the defects are the sort that you can accept.

Payment Options

U.S. orders with flat rate shipping can quickly be completed via Credit/Debit Card or PayPal in our Checkout system. For U.S. customers who purchase items that require "actual shipping" (and for ALL Non-U.S. orders) we need to quote you the cost of shipping (a "shipping quote") after you request it, and you will do so (after the auctions end) through our Checkout system.
NEW! We have integrated most shipping quotes into our checkout (except for Pay and Hold orders because they are more complicated, but those are coming too) so you now can complete payment using our checkout (for both U.S. and non-U.S. orders, but for now, only if you pay with credit card or PayPal).
Please note that we are still developing this checkout system, and we will continue to make further improvements to it, and all aspects of our business, and we will alert you whenever we make such improvements. If you run into any sort of problem requesting your quotes or paying for your order after you receive your quotes, please e-mail Phillip right away so we can get it addressed.

If your order requires a shipping quote and you have already received your quote, you may pay in our Checkout (unless your order is "Pay and Hold" which we are working to account for). You should only pay via PayPal manually if you are Pay and Hold (to "mail@emovieposter.com"), but know that PayPal has many glitches, and if you do that, you need to e-mail us separately stating that you completed payment Learn More Here are step-by-step instructions if you need help paying manually with PayPal.

We also accept all major credit cards and PayPal in our Checkout or, if you want to pay another way, you can pay via phone at +1 (417) 256-9616 during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM CST to 5 PM CST except from 12 to 1 when we take lunch), via e-mail, or via fax at +1 (417) 257-6948.

You can also send a check or money order (if you do, enclose your address and details about what you purchased) to:
Bruce Hershenson
Attn: Payments
P.O. Box 874
West Plains, MO 65775

If it is your best payment option, you can pay by Western Union, but please don't send cash (as we can't be responsible for lost cash).

U.S. Shipping Details

U.S. buyers need to enclose $11 shipping (which includes full insurance), no matter how many items you purchase from this set of auctions! NOTE: Our $11 flat rate shipping is good for two weeks. If you haven't paid within two weeks, you will then be quoted the actual cost of shipping when you request it.
Missouri customers: You must pay an additional 7.162% sales tax on your purchases.  If your order is sent within the state of Missouri, we MUST collect this tax (if it is shipped to another state, we do not collect the tax).

Will your order be shipped to you by UPS?
UPS does NOT automatically require a signature to deliver packages, so if you want the signature to be required, you will need to pay the extra $3.00 UPS charges for "signature required" Delivery Confirmation, and please realize that they will then NOT leave the package, and you may well have to go to the UPS facility yourself to pick it up.  But if you prefer this, that is fine, and if you have any other special requirements, please tell us when you are paying for your order.
IF YOU DO NOT SPECIFY THAT YOU WANT SIGNATURE REQUIRED, THEN YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE SENT WITHOUT SIGNATURE REQUIRED!

You CAN usually combine shipment!

NOTE: These Sunday items need to be sent rolled in tubes so...
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT COMBINING: Flat rate shipping is good for 2 weeks worth of purchases. If you win items over a span of more than 14 days, you will then be charged the actual cost of shipping plus $3 for packing materials.

*they can be combined with these auctions:

Tuesday November 6th "rolled" items in Part III of our Halloween auction (EXCLUDING linenbacked and paperbacked items)
Thursday November 8th items in Part I of our Halloween auction
Tuesday November 13th "rolled oversized" items (NOTE: Some can NOT be combined due to the great chance of damage. We will combine what is safe to do)
Thursday November 15th "rolled" items in our all signed auction (NOTE: Some can NOT be combined due to the great chance of damage. We will combine what is safe to do)

*they must be sent separately from these auctions for an additional shipping charge:

Sunday October 28th bulk lots (NOTE: There are a small number of lots that could be combined and we will automatically do that if it is possible to do.)
Tuesday October 30th three-sheets, six-sheets, and more "oversized" posters
Tuesday November 6th "flat" or "backed" items in Part III of our Halloween auction
Sunday November 11th items in Part II of our Halloween auction
Tuesday November 13th "flat oversized" items (NOTE: Some can NOT be combined due to the great chance of damage. We will combine what is safe to do)
Thursday November 15th "flat" items in our all signed auction

Note that we not only allow you to combine as many items as you want from a single set of Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Sunday auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge for all of the items, but we also allow you to wait until the next five sets of auctions end (a total of six sets of auctions) so that you can combine your current purchases with those of our following auctions (if possible), and that means there is a chance you could combine items from up to six of our sets of auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge (assuming those items fit into the same type of package). We KNOW there are other sellers who charge a little less on shipping than we do, but we know that our packaging is the best there is, and our orders virtually never arrive damaged (and on the very rare times that they do, all our U.S. packages are fully insured, and FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE U.S. SHIPPING CHARGE).

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE $11 U.S. SHIPPING!

Non-U.S. Shipping Details

Non-U.S. buyers must pay the actual cost of shipping their order (you can choose whatever method you prefer, but know that the U.S. Post Office has eliminated Surface Mail, so we can only send via Express or Airmail), plus $3, for both the best packaging materials you have ever seen and a separate printed invoice mailed to you.  All non-U.S. buyers must tell us if they want the package sent insured or uninsured at the time they pay for their order.

Have you heard about our Pay and Hold Program?
This lets non-U.S. buyers pay for their purchases from 4 consecutive weeks (a total of 12 auctions and around 8,000+ items!), and we then send all your purchases at once saving you LOTS of money!  Click HERE to learn more (if you are not one of the hundreds of our non-U.S. buyers who are already part of this program)

Here is a chart containing estimated shipping charges for up to 3 items from this set of  auctions
NOTE:
These are ESTIMATES only, and your actual shipping may be more or less than these estimates.
ALSO NOTE:
Insurance will increase the cost of shipping by approximately $1.60 for each $100 of insurance.

Type of Shipping Canada/Mexico Australian/Asia/Japan Everywhere Else (inc Europe)
Priority Mail Int'l - Uninsured

$29.93 / $36.58

$43.14 $45.47
Express Mail - Uninsured $40.54 / $46.10 $50.84 $51.90

First Class (under 4 lbs ONLY)

$13.00 / $18.74 $22.45 $22.45

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please bear these approximate shipping cost in mind BEFORE you place a bid (if you live outside the U.S.). The vast majority of our customers want a very securely packed tube, and will pay the extra shipping cost involved (and of course, it goes to the Post Office or UPS, and not us!). Please do not ask us to pack less securely, as that would likely result in a damaged order.
Some sellers are sending by Ground UPS to Canada, but that incurs large "brokerage fees", so we do not recommend it.  Note that there are also some sellers sending non-U.S. packages via a "Letter" rate, but of course this is not legal, and we can not do this.  We have outlined the possibilities for sending non-U.S. packages above, so please read that carefully, BEFORE placing a bid!

Do you have a friend or relative who lives in the United States?
Some of our customers either visit the U.S. regularly, or have friends or relatives within the U.S., and often those customers have us send their orders to a U.S. address, and then they transport the posters from there. THIS CAN SAVE YOU A GREAT DEAL ON SHIPPING! This is fine with us, but realize that you still need to let us know within one week of receipt if you want to return anything, so don't use this method unless you are certain you will want to keep your purchases.

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING (the actual cost of shipping plus $3 outside the U.S.)!

You Can Add More to Your Order
In addition to our current auctions, we offer many other non-auction items. Please note that the items in this set of auctions will be sent rolled in tubes, so you can add any item that can also be sent rolled in tubes for little or no additional shipping costs (NOTE: if we can add it to your package without raising the cost of shipping, then we will do so with no added shipping charge, but if it raises the cost then you will need to pay the difference). We have noted below whether the items can be shipped rolled or not.
