Our Fall 2012 Mini/Major Auction has an incredible selection of posters and lobby cards (1800+ items in all!), covering all years, genres, and sizes and is being run in four parts:

• Part I (Sunday August 26th to September 2nd): special collections of 163 Star Wars and 273 Clint Eastwood items

• Part II (Tuesday August 28th to September 4th): 550 linenbacked posters that ship in standard tubes

• Part III (Thursday August 30th to September 6th): rolled posters, folded posters, lobby cards, & more that ship in standard tubes or boxes

• Part IV (Sunday September 2nd to September 9th): oversized posters of all types that ship in oversized tubes or boxes

This set of auctions began on August 26th and it will last for ONE week, ending on September 2nd.
For our Sunday auctions, we normally alternate between "miscellaneous" auctions and rolled one-sheet auctions with each running for two weeks (so each kind of auction runs once every month), but in this one set of auctions because it is Part I of our Fall 2012 Mini/Major Auction (and also for the items in Part II that begin on September 2nd), they will run for ONE week. We will resume our two week schedule with the rolled one-sheets that begin on Sunday, September 9th.

About the special collections of Star Wars and Clint Eastwood posters
In this Part I set of auctions, items 3j001 to 3j163 are solely movie paper items from the first three Star Wars films (Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi). Items 3j164 to 3j436 are solely from the very best Clint Eastwood films (the best of the Dirty Harry series, the Man With No Name trilogy, and his best U.S. westerns, plus a few unusual other Clint Eastwood items!).
This is a rare opportunity to acquire many of the very best Clint Eastwood posters as well as the best Star Wars posters from the first three movies, and it gives you a chance to compare many different posters created for each movie (both different sizes and ones from different countries). The heart of each of these collections is an individual collection that was consigned to us (each having taken many years to assemble) and then we added other posters to those collections from our 1,000+ consignors!

About the shipping of the items in this set of auctions
Note that this set of auctions contains items that ship in flat packages, rolled in tubes, and "oversized" packages or tubes, and there are just a few linenbacked posters in each section (Eastwood and Star Wars). This means that some items can be combined and some can not, and we will automatically combine what is safe to do, but know that if you win items that must be shipped separately, we will have to charge you for the two separate packages.
But we are making a very special offer to our buyers in this Part I: There are many "oversized" items that we would normally charge $13, $15, or the actual cost of shipping to ship within the U.S., but in this Part I set of auctions, we are keeping our "flat rate $11 U.S. shipping" (this is if you solely purchase "flat" items or solely "rolled" items; know that you will be charged $22 U.S. shipping if you win both types). This will mean we'll lose a fairly large amount on the shipping, but this is our way of offering a "thank you" to our buyers, to make it easier for U.S. buyers to know their cost of shipping, and to make it faster to get your purchases shipped to you (since they won't require shipping quotes within the U.S.).
Finally, know that we never combine linenbacked items with non-backed items because of the great chance of damage to the non-backed items when rolling them together. Therefore, if you win "rolled" and "linenbacked" items, your purchases will be shipped in two separate tubes for two separate charges (but of course, it will still be our "flat rate $11 U.S. shipping" for each package for purchases of items in Part I of our Fall 2012 Mini/Major Auction).

About the condition
Note that we give a detailed overall condition grade to every item we sell ("fine", "very good to fine", "very good", "good to very good", and "good", with only a few graded "fair" or lesser) along with more details about the condition described in words (but pretty much a general description of the defects, and we only describe specific defects if they are the type that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized images, or if the item is especially valuable). We felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily. Of course, we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.

If your order requires a shipping quote, please request it through our Checkout system. Please note that we are still developing this checkout system, so while you may request your quote using it, we do not quite have it ready to complete payment (although we hope to have that added soon), but payment may still be completed using whatever method you have used in the past. If you run into any sort of problem requesting your quotes, please e-mail Phillip right away so we can get it addressed.

U.S. buyers need to enclose $11 shipping (which includes full insurance), no matter how many items you purchase from this set of auctions, but note that this special set of auctions (unlike many of our weekly auctions) contains items that BOTH ship in flat packages and rolled in tubes (both regular and "oversized" packages or tubes). This means that some items can be combined and some can not, and we will automatically combine what is safe to do, but know that if you win items that must be shipped separately, we will have to charge you for the two separate packages. NOTE: Our $11 flat rate shipping is good for two weeks. If you haven't paid within two weeks, you will then be quoted the actual cost of shipping when you request it.
Missouri customers: You must pay an additional 7.162% sales tax on your purchases. If your order is sent within the state of Missouri, we MUST collect this tax (if it is shipped to another state, we do not collect the tax).

Will your order be shipped to you by UPS?
UPS does NOT automatically require a signature to deliver packages, so if you want the signature to be required, you will need to pay the extra $3.00 UPS charges for "signature required" Delivery Confirmation, and please realize that they will then NOT leave the package, and you may well have to go to the UPS facility yourself to pick it up. But if you prefer this, that is fine, and if you have any other special requirements, please tell us when you are paying for your order. IF YOU DO NOT SPECIFY THAT YOU WANT SIGNATURE REQUIRED, THEN YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE SENT WITHOUT SIGNATURE REQUIRED!

You CAN usually combine shipment!

NOTE: These Sunday items need to be sent either rolled in tubes OR in flat packages so... IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT COMBINING: Flat rate shipping is good for 2 weeks worth of purchases. Note that we not only allow you to combine as many items as you want from a single set of Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Sunday auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge for all of the items, but we also allow you to wait until the next five sets of auctions end (a total of six sets of auctions) so that you can combine your current purchases with those of our following auctions (if possible), and that means there is a chance you could combine items from up to six of our sets of auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge (assuming those items fit into the same type of package). We KNOW there are other sellers who charge a little less on shipping than we do, but we know that our packaging is the best there is, and our orders virtually never arrive damaged (and on the very rare times that they do, all our U.S. packages are fully insured, and FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE U.S. SHIPPING CHARGE).

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE $11 U.S. SHIPPING (See above for more details about the shipping of this set of auctions)!

Non-U.S. buyers must pay the actual cost of shipping their order (you can choose whatever method you prefer, but know that the U.S. Post Office has eliminated Surface Mail, so we can only send via Express or Airmail), plus $3, for both the best packaging materials you have ever seen and a separate printed invoice mailed to you. All non-U.S. buyers must tell us if they want the package sent insured or uninsured at the time they pay for their order.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please bear these approximate shipping cost in mind BEFORE you place a bid (if you live outside the U.S.). The vast majority of our customers want a very securely packed tube, and will pay the extra shipping cost involved (and of course, it goes to the Post Office or UPS, and not us!). Please do not ask us to pack less securely, as that would likely result in a damaged order.
Some sellers are sending by Ground UPS to Canada, but that incurs large "brokerage fees", so we do not recommend it. Note that there are also some sellers sending non-U.S. packages via a "Letter" rate, but of course this is not legal, and we can not do this. We have outlined the possibilities for sending non-U.S. packages above, so please read that carefully, BEFORE placing a bid!

Do you have a friend or relative who lives in the United States?
Some of our customers either visit the U.S. regularly, or have friends or relatives within the U.S., and often those customers have us send their orders to a U.S. address, and then they transport the posters from there. THIS CAN SAVE YOU A GREAT DEAL ON SHIPPING! This is fine with us, but realize that you still need to let us know within one week of receipt if you want to return anything, so don't use this method unless you are certain you will want to keep your purchases.

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING (the actual cost of shipping plus $3 outside the U.S.)!
