Incredible Bonus Offer!

YOU GET "Best Pictures' Movie Posters" AS A BONUS THIS WEEK!

"Crazy Bruce Hershenson" says, "We are currently auctioning 227 deluxe oversized stills, 181 German programs, and 125 Austrian programs, which is probably our best Sunday auction to date, so I thought it only appropriate to offer each buyer this week our Best Pictures' Movie Posters movie poster book, which is probably our best movie poster book ever, as a bonus!"  THIS BOOK IS ONE OF OUR VERY FINEST, WITH 100 FULL-COLOR PAGES, AND OUR ONLY BOOK WHICH RETAILS FOR $24.99!
This collection contains 417 full-color illustrations of every single nominee and winner of the Best Picture Academy Award, from the very first in 1927/28 all the way through to 1998's nominees! It serves as an incredible reference as to exactly when the greatest films were made, which were nominated, and which won. This is the original first edition from 1998, and it will never be reprinted, and it has a cover price of $24.99 and thousands were sold at that price! Note that this book was neither endorsed by or affiliated with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences!  We offer every one of our buyers this week a copy of this great book, Best Pictures' Movie Posters as a bonus, even if you just buy one $1 item!
If you don't already own this great book (or maybe even if you do!), then you should find any one of our many hundreds of items to buy, just to get the bonus book!  You may get Best Pictures' Movie Posters AND this item for as little as $1 plus shipping for both (if you are the only bidder)!  Is this not almost "too good to be true"?

How are these Sunday auctions different from our Tuesday and Thursday auctions?
The short answer is that they are almost exactly like our Tuesday and Thursday auctions, but with one important difference. This is that they do NOT end at 7 PM CST like those other auctions do, but instead they begin ending at 3 PM CST, which means that our European bidders will not have to get up in the middle of the night to bid at the end of our auctions (and of course, most of our American bidders will not be working on Sundays, so they will have easy access to their computers as well).

Where are the many bulk lots and our usual "Sunday items" regularly offered on Sunday?
We are taking a break from our regular Sunday offerings of magazines, scripts, glass slides, German programs, and bulk lots for two weeks (next week we auction hundreds of lots of 8" x 10" stills) while we offer a special collection of 227 deluxe oversized stills, 181 German programs, and 125 Austrian programs this week, but know that we have a HUGE number of items waiting to be auctioned in our "regular" Sunday auctions, so please know that they will return on Sunday July 18th, and almost every week thereafter.

About the 227 deluxe oversized stills we are auctioning
You surely know that we have auctioned many thousands of 8" x 10" stills over the past few years.  But in this set of auctions, we offer 227 OVERSIZED stills (many are 11" x 14", but all measure larger than 8" x 10").  THIS IS A REALLY SENSATIONAL SELECTION OF OVERSIZED STILLS! Many are on double weight paper, many are by name photographers like Hurrell, some have embossed photographer stamps, and many have really wonderful images of top stars from many decades, including lots from the 1930s!  If you like oversized deluxe stills, you are going to LOVE this group of auctions (and we wish we could say that we would regularly auction stills like these, but they are truly extremely rare, and we don't know when we will next be able to assemble a similar auction).

About the 181 German programs and 125 Austrian programs we are auctioning
In our previous Sunday auctions we have auctioned many German programs (these came from an amazing single owner collection).  We are now taking a break from that collection to auction a just-as-amazing different single owner collection of 181 German programs and 125 Austrian programs!  The owner of these programs was aiming to get an overview of the entire history of movies, the kind of movies where a single original vintage piece of movie paper can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars.  He picked German and Austrian programs because they give you the most "bang for the buck"!
In this collection, you will find many of the absolute most desirable titles, and yet many of them are extremely affordable, even the kind of titles where you can't possibly find any other movie paper (except for an astronomical amount of money).  Note that this collection includes original German programs from JUD SUSS and THE ETERNAL JEW, two of the most offensive movies ever made (they were pet projects of Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's minister of propaganda).  Obviously, we condemn these movies, but because we are anti-censorship, we think it is important to not attempt to erase the memory of these awful movies, and we hope they are purchased by some institution that will display them!

About the Condition
Note that we give an overall condition grade to every item we sell ("fine", "very good to fine", "very good", "good to very good", "good", and "fair", with only a few graded "poor") along with more details about the condition described in words (but pretty much only if they are defects that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized images, or if the item is especially valuable).  We felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily.  Of course, we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the item for minor defects that we did NOT describe.

If an item is in less than very good condition, should you not bid on it? Of course not, as long as you are accepting of the defects the item has! The item that is graded "very good", but has as many minor defects as is allowed under the "very good" definition is only in SLIGHTLY better condition than the best of the "good to very good" items. So please take the time to look at the larger images of items that interest you, and see if the defects are the sort that you can "live with", or are willing to restore. Some of these items are EXTREMELY rare, and it may be years before you see them offered again!

Payment Options
We accept all major credit cards, either directly over the phone at 417-256-9616 during our regular business hours which are Monday to Friday, 9 AM CST to 5 PM CST except between 12 and 1 when we take lunch, or you can e-mail us payment details, and there are still a few people who fax us!

If you like to pay via PayPal
(our PayPal e-mail is "mail@emovieposter.com"), that is fine, but know that PayPal has many glitches, and you should ABSOLUTELY e-mail us separately when you send us a PayPal payment!

You can send a check or money order (if you do, enclose your address and details about what you purchased) to:
Bruce Hershenson
Attn: Payments
P.O. Box 874
West Plains, MO 65775

If it is your best payment option, you can pay by Western Union (unlike SOME auction sites, we are not prejudiced against Western Union!). But please don't send cash (as we can't be responsible for lost cash)!

U.S. Shipping Details

U.S. buyers need to enclose $10 shipping (which includes full insurance)!
Missouri customers: You must pay an additional 7.162% sales tax on your purchases.  If your order is sent within the state of Missouri, we MUST collect this tax (if it is shipped to another state, we do not collect the tax).

Will your order be shipped to you by UPS?
UPS does NOT automatically require a signature to deliver packages, so if you want the signature to be required, you will need to pay the extra $3.00 UPS charges for "signature required" Delivery Confirmation, and please realize that they will then NOT leave the package, and you may well have to go to the UPS facility yourself to pick it up.  But if you prefer this, that is fine, and if you have any other special requirements, please tell us when you are paying for your order.
IF YOU DO NOT SPECIFY THAT YOU WANT SIGNATURE REQUIRED, THEN YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE SENT WITHOUT SIGNATURE REQUIRED!

You CAN usually combine shipment!
NOTE: These Sunday items need to be sent in flat packages so...

*they can be combined with these auctions:

  • Sunday June 20th & 27th and July 4th Sunday items
  • Tuesday June 22nd window cards, French, and Italian posters
  • Tuesday June 29th folded one-sheets
  • Thursday July 1st folded non-U.S. posters and non-U.S. lobby cards

*they must be sent separately from these auctions for an additional shipping charge:

  • Thursday June 24th Thirty by Forties, British quads, and "special" rolled posters
  • Tuesday July 6th half-sheets and Japanese B2 posters
  • Thursday July 8th inserts, Belgian posters, and Italian locandinas

Note that we not only allow you to combine as many items as you want from a single set of Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Sunday auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge for all of the items, but we also allow you to wait until the next five sets of auctions end (a total of six sets of auctions) so that you can combine your current purchases with those of our following auctions (if possible), and that means there is a chance you could combine items from up to six of our sets of auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge (assuming those items fit into the same type of package). We KNOW there are other sellers who charge a little less on shipping than we do, but we know that our packaging is the best there is, and our orders virtually never arrive damaged (and on the very rare times that they do, all our U.S. packages are fully insured, and FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE U.S. SHIPPING CHARGE).

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE $10 U.S. SHIPPING!

Non-U.S. Shipping Details

Non-U.S. buyers must pay the actual cost of shipping their order (you can choose whatever method you prefer, but know that the U.S. Post Office has eliminated Surface Mail, so we can only send via Express or Airmail), plus $2 for the best packaging materials you have ever seen.  All non-U.S. buyers must tell us if they want the package sent insured or uninsured at the time they pay for their order.

Have you heard about our Pay and Hold Program?
This lets non-U.S. buyers pay for their purchases from 4 consecutive weeks (a total of 12 auctions and around 8,000+ items!), and we then send all your purchases at once saving you LOTS of money!  Click HERE to learn more (if you are not one of the hundreds of our non-U.S. buyers who are already part of this program)

Here is a chart containing estimated shipping charges for up to 3 items from this week's auctions (note these are ESTIMATES only, and your actual shipping may vary considerably)
(Note: Insured quotes are based on a $200 value; you pay $1.60 more for each additional $100 of insurance)

Type of Shipping Canada/Mexico Australian/Asia/Japan Everywhere Else (inc Europe)
Airmail - Uninsured $21.71 / $22.61 $29.79 $30.26
Airmail - Insured $23.61 / N/A $32.99 $33.46
Global Express - Insured $34.72 / N/A $38.05 $38.74
Global Express - Uninsured $32.82 / $32.59 $35.35 $36.04
First Class $9.95 / $14.90 $17.92 $17.92

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please bear these approximate shipping cost in mind BEFORE you place a bid (if you live outside the U.S.). The vast majority of our customers want a very securely packed tube, and will pay the extra shipping cost involved (and of course, it goes to the Post Office or UPS, and not us!). Please do not ask us to pack less securely, as that would likely result in a damaged order.
Some sellers are sending by Ground UPS to Canada, but that incurs large "brokerage fees", so we do not recommend it.  Note that there are also some sellers sending non-U.S. packages via a "Letter" rate, but of course this is not legal, and we can not do this.  We have outlined the possibilities for sending non-U.S. packages above, so please read that carefully, BEFORE placing a bid!

Do you have a friend or relative who lives in the United States?
Some of our customers either visit the U.S. regularly, or have friends or relatives within the U.S., and often those customers have us send their orders to a U.S. address, and then they transport the posters from there. THIS CAN SAVE YOU A GREAT DEAL ON SHIPPING! This is fine with us, but realize that you still need to let us know within one week of receipt if you want to return anything, so don't use this method unless you are certain you will want to keep your purchases.

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING (the actual cost of shipping plus $2 outside the U.S.)!

You Can Add More to Your Order
In addition to our current auctions, we offer many other non-auction items. Please note that the items in this week's auction will be sent in flat packages, so you can add any item that can also be sent in flat packages for no additional shipping costs. We have noted below whether the items can be shipped rolled or not.
