| Special Notes About This
Thursday's Items About the Condition How do we have so many excellent condition, unrestored lobby cards this week? Most of these come to us from a couple of collectors who were fanatical about condition, and who hated restoration of any kind! We took out the few lobby cards they had that had any sort of tape or restoration of any kind, and we will auction those at another time. SO THIS IS A "DREAM AUCTION" FOR COLLECTORS WHO LOVE "HIGH-GRADE, UNRESTORED" LOBBY CARDS! Approximately two thirds of the cards in this auction are both "high grade" (either "fine" or "very good to fine"), and are completely unrestored! Note that we give a detailed overall condition grade to every item we sell ("fine", "very good to fine", "very good", "good to very good", "good", and "fair", with only a few graded "poor") along with more details about the condition described in words (but pretty much only if they are defects that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized images, or if the item is especially valuable). We felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily. Of course, we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the item for minor defects that we did NOT describe. Please remember that our grading system is FAR more harsh than any other dealer we know of! We feel certain that our "very good to fine" condition grade compares favorably to most dealers' "near mint" grade and our "fine" condition grade compares favorably to most dealers' "mint" grade! We did not describe any of the tiny defects these cards have in words, so we strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see whatever tiny defects any of these cards may have. IMPORTANT! There are constant rumors that "slabbing" of lobby cards is "just around the corner". Slabbing is encasing items in a hard plastic sleeve with a seal that can't be broken, and then the items are professionally graded. ANY restoration of any kind, as well as a detailed condition description is noted on the back of the sleeve. Proponents of slabbing say that it takes all the guesswork out of grading items, and it brings lots of new collectors into a hobby, who are no longer afraid of buying an over-graded item, or one with hidden restoration. It is indisputable that slabbing attracts a lot of "investors" into a hobby, and almost always slabbing of items is followed by a sharp rise in the price of "high grade" UNRESTORED items. If the people who currently "slab" other collectibles begin to do so with lobby cards, then it is very likely prices will rise on them as well. If an item is in less than very good condition, should you not bid on it? Of course not, as long as you are accepting of the defects the item has! The item that is graded "very good", but has as many minor defects as is allowed under the "very good" definition is only in SLIGHTLY better condition than the best of the "good to very good" items. So please take the time to look at the larger images of items that interest you, and see if the defects are the sort that you can "live with", or are willing to restore. Some of these items are EXTREMELY rare, and it may be years before you see them offered again!

| U.S. Shipping
Details U.S. buyers need to enclose $11 shipping, unless your total is under $100 (see below). U.S. orders totaling $100 and over pay $11 for shipping U.S. orders totaling less than $100 pay $9 for shipping Why do we charge $9 to $11? We spend $11 (or more) on almost all U.S. orders, because we use such good, heavy packaging (at least twice as strong as that used by most sellers), even on low priced orders (because we believe a low priced item still deserves the best handling)! But we know that people who spend relatively small amounts of money do not like to pay $11 for shipping, so we discount shipping on smaller orders by $2 as a favor to those customers. You CAN usually combine shipment! Note that we not only allow you to combine as many items as you want from a single week, and still pay only a single shipping charge for all of the items, but we also allow you to wait until next week's auctions end so that you can combine your current purchases with those of our following auctions (if possible), and since we do two sets of auctions every week, that means there is a chance you could combine items from up to four of our sets of auctions, and still pay only a single $11 (or $9) shipping charge (assuming those items fit into the same type of package). We KNOW there are other sellers who charge a little less on shipping than we do, but we know that our packaging is the best there is, and our orders virtually never arrive damaged (and on the very rare times that they do, all our U.S. packages are fully insured, and FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE $11 [or $9] U.S. SHIPPING CHARGE). DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE QUOTED SHIPPING ($11 or $9 for U.S. shipping)!

Shipping Details Non-U.S. buyers must pay the actual cost of shipping their order (you can choose whatever method you prefer, but know that the U.S. Post Office has eliminated Surface Mail, so we can only send via Express or Airmail), plus $2 for the best packaging materials you have ever seen. All non-U.S. buyers must tell us if they want the package sent insured or uninsured at the time they pay for their order.
