Our Spring 2011 Special Non-U.S./Non-Movie Mini/Major Auction has an incredible selection of posters (1000+ items in all!), covering all years, genres, and sizes and is being run in four parts:

  • Part I (Tuesday March 29th to April 5th): 269 LINENBACKED non-U.S. and non-movie posters
  • Part II (Thursday March 31st to April 7th): 246 non-backed non-U.S. and non-movie posters that can be shipped in flat packages
  • Part III (Sunday April 3rd to April 10th): non-backed rolled or formerly folded non-movie posters
  • Part IV (Tuesday April 5th to April 12th): non-backed rolled or formerly folded non-U.S. posters

What distinguishes OUR Mini/Major Auctions from other major auctions? Only the lack of any reserves or buyers premiums, honest condition grading, and unenhanced super-sized images! You will find an amazing "supermarket" selection of great posters from all years, genres, and countries!

SPECIAL BONUS OFFER TO EVERY BUYER IN THESE AUCTIONS!

INCREDIBLE! Every buyer from ANY of the parts of our "Spring 2011 Special Non-U.S./Non-Movie Mini/Major Auction " receives a great full-color printed t-shirt as a free bonus (even if you only purchase one $1 item)!
Every buyer in this special auction will receive the great full-color T-shirt pictured at right, which shows the image from the GRAND ILLUSION Italian poster included in this auction (we will only be making as many t-shirts as there are different buyers in these auctions, so it will be a VERY limited edition, and likely will become a "collector's item" in its own right!). Given that you get this great full-color T-shirt with any purchase, shouldn't you absolutely find any one item to purchase from us from among the 1000+ items in these special auctions?
*Note: we give this shirt (which costs us $9 to $11 each at wholesale, because they are very high quality) to anyone who purchases one or more items in these auctions. BUT KNOW THAT YOU ONLY GET ONE SHIRT, NO MATTER HOW MANY ITEMS YOU PURCHASE, AND WHETHER OR NOT YOU PURCHASE FROM ANY OF THE PARTS OF THIS SPECIAL AUCTION.

Please also note that, because some of the posters in this auction are un-backed and rolled, we will NOT send the t-shirt together with your purchase if you purchase only rolled unbacked items. In that case only, we will hold it on your account, and we will add it to the next flat package you receive from us.  But if you purchase items that CAN have a t-shirt included with them (either linenbacked or items that ship flat), then we will include the shirt with your purchases.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S EVEN MORE!  The above offer is for anyone who purchases any ONE item from either part of this mini/major auction.  But if you are a member of our weekly e-mail club, we will be offering our most generous bonus offers ever to those who purchase just FIVE items from any of the four parts combined (you need just purchase a total of five items from any of the four parts).  We will have multiple great offers for those who purchase as few as five items, and as many as twelve or more, and you get these just for being a member of the club (so if you are not already a member, and over 5,985 collectors already are, then why not join today by going to https://www.emovieposter.com/club/settings.php).

Details About This Tuesday's Items

HERE IS A CHART OF THE ITEMS IN THIS AUCTION:
(to better help you find the sizes and countries that interest you)

Note that every item in Part II of our Spring 2011 Special Non-U.S./Non-Movie Mini/Major Auction ships in flat packages (some ship in our standard sized packages, and some ship in various oversized packages; we have listed the items in general order by how big they will be for shipping, so that the last items listed are the ones that ship in the largest flat packages), and because we never choose to combine linen and non-linen posters, the items in this Part II must be shipped separate from the items in parts I, III, and IV, because none of those items can be shipped in flat packages).

About Our digital images of posters printed in 2 or more pieces
Some of the posters we are offering this week are printed in 2 or more pieces (because they were made before printers had the ability to print larger posters in one or more larger pieces, so they were normally printed in a greater number of pieces). To give you the best possible idea of what the poster will look like when the pieces are combined, as intended, we photograph each piece separately and then digitally "join" the images to show you what the entire poster looks like (when there are multiple pieces, they are printed with extra blank borders designed to overlap, so that the pieces can be combined to have a perfect "fit"). BUT THE DOWNSIDE TO PHOTOGRAPHING THE INDIVIDUAL SECTIONS BY THEMSELVES IS THAT THE LIGHTING IS NOT EXACTLY THE SAME WHEN WE PHOTOGRAPH EACH PIECE SEPARATELY. Often this leads to one part of the poster appearing darker (or lighter) than the rest of the poster. THIS IS DUE SOLELY TO THE LIGHTING AND DOES NOT MEAN ONE PIECE IS "DARKER" THAN ANOTHER! If one of our posters ACTUALLY has significantly different coloring from one piece to another, we SURELY note that in words. This same "lighter" and "darker" issue can occur in single piece posters, if they are very large (like one-panels that are printed in a single piece), because the poster is so large that the lighting may vary from one area of the poster to another. But know that any color difference from one section of a poster to another, or from one portion of the poster to another, is purely due to photography and is NOT on the actual poster, and when you see the poster in person, you will see that this is correct!

About the condition
Note that we give a detailed overall condition grade to every item we sell ("fine", "very good to fine", "very good", "good to very good", "good", and "fair", with only a few graded "poor") along with more details about the condition described in words (but pretty much only if they are defects that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized images, or if the item is especially valuable).  We felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily.  Of course, we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.

If a poster is in less than very good condition, should you not bid on it? Of course not, as long as you are accepting of the defects the poster has! The item that is graded "very good", but has as many minor defects as is allowed under the "very good" definition is only in SLIGHTLY better condition than the best of the "good to very good" items. So please take the time to look at the larger images of items that interest you, and see if the defects are the sort that you can "live with", or are willing to restore. Some of these items are EXTREMELY rare, and it may be years before you see them offered again!

Payment Options

We accept all major credit cards via phone at +1 (417) 256-9616 during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM CST to 5 PM CST except from 12 to 1 when we take lunch), via e-mail, or via fax at +1 (417) 257-6948.

U.S. orders with a flat rate shipping can quickly be completed via PayPal in our Checkout system. At this time, PayPal is the only payment method supported by the checkout but more payment methods and features will be added with time.
If your order requires a shipping quote and you have received your quote, you may pay via PayPal manually to "mail@emovieposter.com", but know that PayPal has many glitches, so you need to e-mail us separately stating that you completed payment Learn More.  Here are step-by-step instructions if you need help paying manually with PayPal.

You can send a check or money order (if you do, enclose your address and details about what you purchased) to:
Bruce Hershenson
Attn: Payments
P.O. Box 874
West Plains, MO 65775

If it is your best payment option, you can pay by Western Union, but please don't send cash (as we can't be responsible for lost cash).

If your order requires a shipping quote, please request it through our Checkout system. Please note that we are still developing this checkout system, so while you may request your quote using it, we do not quite have it ready to complete payment (although we hope to have that added soon), but payment may still be completed using whatever method you have used in the past. If you run into any sort of problem requesting your quotes, please e-mail Phillip right away so we can get it addressed.

U.S. Shipping Details

KNOW THAT IN THIS SET OF AUCTIONS ONLY (Part II of our Spring 2011 Special Non-U.S./Non-Movie Mini/Major Auction), all of the items must be shipped in flat packages of various sizes for the actual cost of sending your order (plus $2 for the packaging materials) for all customers.
Missouri customers: You must pay an additional 7.162% sales tax on your purchases.  If your order is sent within the state of Missouri, we MUST collect this tax (if it is shipped to another state, we do not collect the tax).

Will your order be shipped to you by UPS?
UPS does NOT automatically require a signature to deliver packages, so if you want the signature to be required, you will need to pay the extra $3.00 UPS charges for "signature required" Delivery Confirmation, and please realize that they will then NOT leave the package, and you may well have to go to the UPS facility yourself to pick it up.  But if you prefer this, that is fine, and if you have any other special requirements, please tell us when you are paying for your order.
IF YOU DO NOT SPECIFY THAT YOU WANT SIGNATURE REQUIRED, THEN YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE SENT WITHOUT SIGNATURE REQUIRED!

You CAN usually combine shipment!
NOTE: These Thursday items need to be sent in flat packages (many in "oversized" flat packages and all for the actual cost of shipping) so...

*they can be combined with these auctions (but realize you will still have to pay the actual cost of shipping):

  • Sunday March 13th "all signed" items Part II
  • Sunday March 20th 'regular' Sunday auctions
  • Tuesday March 22nd folded one-sheets
  • Thursday March 24th window cards, French, and Italian
  • Tuesday March 29th folded non-U.S. posters & non-U.S. lobbies
  • Thursday March 31st miscellaneous items

*they must be sent separately from these auctions for an additional shipping charge:

  • Tuesday March 15th rolled non-U.S. Part I
  • Thursday March 17th rolled non-U.S. Part II
  • Sunday March 20th or 27th Sunday bulk lots
  • Tuesday April 5th linenbacked items in Part I of our Spring 2011 Mini/Major Auction
  • Sunday April 10th rolled non-movie posters in Part III of our Spring 2011 Mini/Major Auction
  • Tuesday April 12th rolled non-U.S. posters in Part IV of our Spring 2011 Mini/Major Auction

Note that we not only allow you to combine as many items as you want from a single set of Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Sunday auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge for all of the items, but we also allow you to wait until the next five sets of auctions end (a total of six sets of auctions) so that you can combine your current purchases with those of our following auctions (if possible), and that means there is a chance you could combine items from up to six of our sets of auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge (assuming those items fit into the same type of package). We KNOW there are other sellers who charge a little less on shipping than we do, but we know that our packaging is the best there is, and our orders virtually never arrive damaged (and on the very rare times that they do, all our U.S. packages are fully insured, and FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE U.S. SHIPPING CHARGE).

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING!

Non-U.S. Shipping Details

Non-U.S. buyers must pay the actual cost of shipping their order (you can choose whatever method you prefer, but know that the U.S. Post Office has eliminated Surface Mail, so we can only send via Express or Airmail), plus $2 for the best packaging materials you have ever seen.  All non-U.S. buyers must tell us if they want the package sent insured or uninsured at the time they pay for their order.

Have you heard about our Pay and Hold Program?
This lets non-U.S. buyers pay for their purchases from 4 consecutive weeks (a total of 12 auctions and around 8,000+ items!), and we then send all your purchases at once saving you LOTS of money!  Click HERE to learn more (if you are not one of the hundreds of our non-U.S. buyers who are already part of this program)

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please bear this shipping cost in mind BEFORE your place a bid (if you live outside the U.S.). The vast majority of our customers want a very securely packed order, and will pay the extra shipping cost involved (and of course, it goes to the Post Office or UPS, and not us!). Please do not ask us to pack less securely, as that would likely result in a damaged order.
Some sellers are sending by Ground UPS to Canada, but that incurs large "brokerage fees", so we do not recommend it.  Note that there are also some sellers sending non-U.S. packages via a "Letter" rate, but of course this is not legal, and we can not do this.  We have outlined the possibilities for sending non-U.S. packages above, so please read that carefully, BEFORE placing a bid!

Do you have a friend or relative who lives in the United States? Some of our customers either visit the U.S. regularly, or have friends or relatives within the U.S., and often those customers have us send their orders to a U.S. address, and then they transport the posters from there. THIS CAN SAVE YOU A GREAT DEAL ON SHIPPING! This is fine with us, but realize that you still need to let us know within one week of receipt if you want to return anything, so don't use this method unless you are certain you will want to keep your purchases.

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING (the actual cost of shipping plus $2 outside the U.S.)!

You Can Add More to Your Order
In addition to our current auctions, we offer many other non-auction items. Please note that the items in this week's auction will be sent in flat packages, so you can add any item that can also be sent in flat packages for no additional shipping costs. We have noted below whether the items can be shipped rolled or not.
