YOU GET "Vintage Hollywood Posters III" AS A BONUS THIS WEEK!

"Crazy Bruce Hershenson" says, "We are currently selling 498 U.S. & non-U.S. heralds, lots of 2 to 17 color stills, 16 pencil drawings from The Simpsons, and 8 original 1939 GWTW stills, and I thought I would offer each buyer this week our full-color Vintage Hollywood Posters III movie poster book as an added bonus!" This is the catalog from the June 24th, 2000 auction held in Beverly Hills, California that was co-hosted by Bruce Hershenson and Howard Lowery. The 80 page full-color catalog has a cover price of $20 and thousands were sold at that price!  It contains a remarkable assortment of posters. many of which have never been auctioned. There is an incredible group of 149 of virtually every 1950s science fiction posters (including Forbidden Planet, Creature From the Black Lagoon, and much more!) as well as lots and lots of the finest posters known from the 1930s through the 1960s! You also get the prices everything sold for at the auction!
We offer every one of our buyers this week a copy of this great full-color book, Vintage Hollywood Posters III as a bonus, even if you just buy one $1 item!  If you don't already own this great book (or maybe even if you do!), then you should find any one of our hundreds of items to buy, just to get the bonus book!  You may get Vintage Hollywood Posters III AND a great item for as little as $1 plus shipping (if you are the only bidder)!

Special Notes About This Thursday's Items

About This Week's Items
Note that this is a "catch-all" week, where we auction certain types of items that DO fit in our standard sized mailers, but are NOT posters (this time it is heralds, both U.S. and non-U.S., color still sets, and some "special" items). We will occasionally auction items like these in future catch all weeks, but they will NOT be the same exact types of items as the ones we are selling this week (unless we get consigned more of these types, of course!).  So if you like any of the sizes and types of items we are auctioning this week, know that we have not sold these types of items for quite some time, and we likely will not sell them again for a long time!
One final important note: While some of the items we are auctioning this week are roughly 11" x 14" (either as they are, or when they are folded). SOME of the items (mostly the heralds and color still sets) are quite a bit smaller. We are charging our standard $9 U.S. shipping this week, but if you solely purchased smaller items, and you DON'T want the free book we are giving this week, then let us know that, and we can package the item much smaller, and we will only charge you the lower shipping rate. This is especially important if you live outside the U.S. (on non-U.S. orders, we will NOT pack the free book in with your items unless you specifically request us to do so, so if you live outside the U.S. and DO want the free book, you should tell us that).

About the Rarity of the Heralds We Are Currently Auctioning
Many collectors are not aware of heralds which are basically tiny posters that were given away to theaters to entice people into that theater.  They often provide one of the absolute most affordable ways of getting an original first release item from titles that otherwise sell for "out of this world" prices!  Note that the heralds we are auctioning this week come from two different exceptional collections we were consigned, and included in those collections are some extremely rare titles, and almost all of the heralds are in really excellent condition (they were either never used, or were used once and then carefully stored away).

About the Condition of the Items We Are Currently Auctioning
Note that we give a detailed overall condition grade to every item we sell ("fine", "very good to fine", "very good", "good to very good", and "good", with only a few graded "fair" or lesser) along with more details about the condition described in words (but pretty much a general description of the defects, and we only describe specific defects if they are the type that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized images, or if the item is especially valuable). We felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily. Of course, we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.

About the Originality of the Color Stills
WE GUARANTEE THAT EVERY STILL IN THIS AUCTION IS ORIGINAL (just like the ones we sold in our earlier weeks of still auctions)! Why?  Because these stills are from several remarkable collections, which were purchased by VERY knowledgeable collectors, who could tell original stills from repros, reissues, or restrikes and it only contains original stills, and YOU DON'T HAVE TO TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT!  We know you will agree these are surely original stills, but if you have the slightest doubt, you can return ANY still within one week for a no questions asked refund!  I have sold many tens of thousands of stills, and I KNOW these to be genuine, and I also know this to be a remarkable collection of hand-picked stills!

Payment Options
We accept all major credit cards, either directly over the phone at 417-256-9616 during our regular business hours which are Monday to Friday, 9 AM CST to 5 PM CST except between 12 and 1 when we take lunch, or you can e-mail us payment details, and there are still a few people who fax us!

If you like to pay via Paypal
(our PayPal e-mail is "mail@emovieposter.com"), that is fine, but know that PayPal has many glitches, and you should ABSOLUTELY e-mail us separately when you send us a PayPal payment!

You can send a check or money order (if you do, enclose your address and details about what you purchased) to:
Bruce Hershenson
Attn: Payments
P.O. Box 874
West Plains, MO 65775

If it is your best payment option, you can pay by Western Union (unlike SOME auction sites, we are not prejudiced against Western Union!). But please don't send cash (as we can't be responsible for lost cash)!

U.S. Shipping Details

U.S. buyers need to enclose $9 shipping (which includes full insurance)! Important note: While some of the items we are auctioning this week are roughly 11" x 14" (either as they are, or when they are folded).

Why do we charge $9, when we used to charge $9 to $11 on eBay?
We spend $9 (or more) on almost all U.S. orders, because we use such good, heavy packaging (at least twice as strong as that used by most sellers), even on low priced orders (because we believe a low priced item still deserves the best handling)!
We USED to charge $11 for shipping on U.S. orders over $100 when we sold on eBay, but now that we are auctioning on our own site we have lowered that to $9, which is both our way of thanking those who order a lot from us, and also our way of passing on our savings from not paying eBay commissions to our customers!

Will your order be shipped to you by UPS?
UPS does NOT automatically require a signature to deliver packages, so if you want the signature to be required, you will need to pay the extra $2.50 UPS charges for "signature required" Delivery Confirmation, and please realize that they will then NOT leave the package, and you may well have to go to the UPS facility yourself to pick it up.  But if you prefer this, that is fine, and if you have any other special requirements, please tell us when you are paying for your order.  IF YOU DO NOT SPECIFY THAT YOU WANT SIGNATURE REQUIRED, THEN YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE SENT WITHOUT SIGNATURE REQUIRED!

You CAN usually combine shipment!
(NOTE: These Thursday items must be sent in flat packages and can NOT be combined with the rolled non-U.S. posters or 27" x 40" rolled one-sheets we auctioned 6/9 & 6/11, but CAN be combined with the window cards, French, & Italian posters we are auctioning on 6/16 [but know that you'd have to pay the higher $12 cost of shipping from those auctions], and CAN be combined with the folded one-sheets we will be auctioning from 6/16 to 6/25)
Note that we not only allow you to combine as many items as you want from a single set of EITHER Tuesday or Thursday auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge for all of the items, but we also allow you to wait until the next three sets of auctions end (a total of four sets of auctions) so that you can combine your current purchases with those of our following auctions (if possible), and that means there is a chance you could combine items from up to four of our sets of auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge (assuming those items fit into the same type of package). We KNOW there are other sellers who charge a little less on shipping than we do, but we know that our packaging is the best there is, and our orders virtually never arrive damaged (and on the very rare times that they do, all our U.S. packages are fully insured, and FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE U.S. SHIPPING CHARGE).

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE $9 U.S. SHIPPING!

Non-U.S. Shipping Details

Non-U.S. buyers must pay the actual cost of shipping their order (you can choose whatever method you prefer, but know that the U.S. Post Office has eliminated Surface Mail, so we can only send via Express or Airmail), plus $2 for the best packaging materials you have ever seen.  All non-U.S. buyers must tell us if they want the package sent insured or uninsured at the time they pay for their order.

Here is a chart containing estimated shipping charges for up to 3 items from this week's auctions
(Note: Insured quotes are based on a $200 value; you pay $1.60 more for each additional $100 of insurance)

Type of Shipping Canada/Mexico Australian/Asia/Japan Everywhere Else (inc Europe)
Airmail - Uninsured $21.71 / $22.61 $29.79 $30.26
Airmail - Insured $23.61 / N/A $32.99 $33.46
Global Express - Insured $34.72 / N/A $38.05 $38.74
Global Express - Uninsured $32.82 / $32.59 $35.35 $36.04
First Class $9.95 / $14.90 $17.92 $17.92

Important note: While some of the items we are auctioning this week are roughly 11" x 14" (either as they are, or when they are folded).
But if you do want the bonus book, or if the item(s) you purchase are not the type that can be packaged smaller, then please bear these approximate shipping cost in mind BEFORE you place a bid (if you live outside the U.S.). The vast majority of our customers want a very securely packed tube, and will pay the extra shipping cost involved (and of course, it goes to the Post Office or UPS, and not us!). Please do not ask us to pack less securely, as that would likely result in a damaged order.
Some sellers are sending by Ground UPS to Canada, but that incurs large "brokerage fees", so we do not recommend it.  Note that there are also some sellers sending non-U.S. packages via a "Letter" rate, but of course this is not legal, and we can not do this.  We have outlined the possibilities for sending non-U.S. packages above, so please read that carefully, BEFORE placing a bid!

Do you have a friend or relative who lives in the United States? Some of our customers either visit the U.S. regularly, or have friends or relatives within the U.S., and often those customers have us send their orders to a U.S. address, and then they transport the posters from there. THIS CAN SAVE YOU A GREAT DEAL ON SHIPPING! This is fine with us, but realize that you still need to let us know within one week of receipt if you want to return anything, so don't use this method unless you are certain you will want to keep your purchases.

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING (the actual cost of shipping plus $2 outside the U.S.)!

You Can Add More to Your Order
In addition to our current auctions, we offer many other non-auction items. Please note that the items in this week's auction will be sent in flat packages, so you can add any item that can also be sent in a flat package for no additional shipping costs. We have noted in each paragraph below whether the items can be shipped rolled or not.
