WILLIAM WARFIELD

William Warfield was a black African American concert baritone singer from the 1940s to the 1970s. He also appeared in a two movies: Show Boat (as Joe, a role he also played on stage!), and Old Explorers. He also appeared in two Broadway productions: Set My People Free, and Regina. Warfield passed away in 2002 at the age of 82.
