JIM BACKUS

Jim Backus was an actor from the 1940s to the 1980s. He is best remembered as "Thurston Howell III" in the TV series "Gilligan's Island" and as the voice of "Mr. Magoo" in many cartoons. Some of his movies include: Father Was a Fullback, Rebel Without a Cause, The Opposite Sex, and The Horizontal Lieutenant. He passed away in 1989 at the age of 76.
