Mari Blanchard was an actress from the 1940s to the 1960s. Some of her movies include: Abbott & Costello Go To Mars, She Devil, McLintock!, Twice-Told Tales, On the Riviera, The Unknown Man, and Something to Live For. Note that Blanchard's looks and 36-25-36 figure became the inspiration for cartoonist Al Capp in creating his voluptuous character "Stupefyin' Jones" for the popular "L'il Abner" comic strip! She passed away in 1970 at the age of 47 from cancer.
